Ask anybody in Fort Macleod who the Timberman is and you'll get two answers. Half the town will tell you he's the paramedic who pulled their uncle out of a rolled pickup on Highway 3. The other half will tell you he's the masked lunatic who put El Verdugo through a table at the Pavilion. They're both right.

He grew up in the Porcupine Hills, west of town, where his family ran a one-saw mill for three generations. By twelve he could drop a lodgepole pine exactly where he wanted it. By sixteen he was winning the underhand chop at logger sports days across southern Alberta. The mill closed in 2011. The axe stayed.

He went into emergency medicine and has worked full-time with Fort Macleod EMS ever since. Four nights a week he drove two hours to Calgary after shift to train, learning to wrestle in a cattle-barn ring where the heat was optional and the mat was plywood. He debuted in April 2024 under the maple leaf mask, and he has not lost a match in Calgary since the spring of 2025.
